A New Hampshire Couple's Boudoir Experience

What made you decide to book a session?

I actually saw some of her work on Facebook and loved the way she captured the hidden confidence we all have but are afraid to let shine. I know I have it in there and it shines most when I’m with or around my husband. He makes me feel amazing and beautiful!

How were you feeling prior to your session?

Honestly I was excited! Doing a couples boudoir shoot was so fun and Nichole is a blast ! Made us feel like ourselves and let us be as silly as we are normally with no uptight feelings.

Seeing the comments on the ladies only page was flattering and because Nichole really did capture how we feel about each other in those pictures !

A Couple’s Boudoir Experience is available to those ladies that I have photographed in the past. These shoots can be as relaxed or as sensual as you are comfortable doing. Located in Barrington, New Hampshire. Private studio offering professional hair + makeup as well as a lingerie wardrobe.

I'm Scared ..... No Sh*t .... We All Are

So I know you think that the ladies you see on my website all look amazing. Well, they are amazing!!

You probably think they all came in with stellar body confidence. That would be a lie. They were either a little nervous or scared sh*tless. That is true! What I can tell you is that each client leaves with this euphoric feeling. It’s what we like to call a boudoir high. My hope is that this feeling continues on for a long time.

This is why I LOVE wall art. They can be placed in your bedroom, bathroom, or even walk in closet. They are a great daily reminder that you are a beautiful goddess when the day to day life has you down.

The following photos are of my client who is a Burlesque dance. How fun! NSFW

Before + After Photoshop/Posing { New Hampshire Boudoir}

I often get asked to what extent I will retouch images. Also, the next followup question is that they have never posed before and will I be able to work with them. These are great questions so I created this blog article to show you examples of both.

Retouching can be quite aggressive or just a light touch. I always retouch anything that is considered non-permanent. This would include but not limited to acne and bruises. I will soften or remove cellulite when requested. My philosophy is to keep it as minimal as possible. I will not change your body shape, however if a bra strap is too tight then I will fix any bulges that result. This is where properly fitted clothes is essential.

Preparing for a session can help to minimize some concerns. Drink plenty of water at least a week before, avoid tan lines or get a professional tan spray the week before, and make sure items fit properly. I highly recommend seeing an Esthetician to discuss breakouts and dry skin. This can take several visits to really take care of your skin.

Remember that hair + makeup is provided at the studio before your boudoir session. I use amazing artists in the area that will discuss the look you desire.

When I mention my job I usually get a response like, “I could never do that, I don’t have the right body shape” or “I wouldn’t know how to pose”. Boudoir is for EVERYONE. You are posed from head to toe. I even hop on the couch and show you the pose. This usually gets us laughing because I am a dork. Below is an example of what an un-posed butt looks like and then the after. It is all in the arch for this image. If you cannot arch then I will show you how to get close to a similar pose by pushing with your knees.

Boudoir Session for "A.G" { New Hampshire}

What made you decide to book a session?

I decided to apply because of the self esteem boost I got after my first reconstruction after breast cancer (Scar Project photos) and I hope it inspires other cancer patients/survivors to pamper themselves because we are all beautiful no matter how many scars or missing parts we have.

How were you feeling prior to your session?

PUMPED! I love to be pampered because I don't take the time to do it myself - and I knew it would be fun "playing" model and especially in sexy lingerie. I have had a love/hate relationship with my body having had several breast surgeries but through photography I see myself in a different way.

Describe your experience

Liberating! I've had a lot of clinical disrobing and becoming less modest at my appointments (my boobs are mostly fakers now and I don't feel shy any more at this point) I loved collaborating with Nichole and trying on different types of sexy things that I wouldn't normally pick for myself.

How did you feel about yourself after your session?
Definitely more confident about how I look as a 45 year old cancer survivin' momma! Birthin' babies ain't no joke, and having back scars and boob scars on top of that can wear you down. Seeing these photos was eye opening again, 11 years after the Scar Project. But this time, instead of my scars being the focus, it was on me as a woman and the power we have and freedom to feel and look sexy.

What advice would you give to a friend considering a session?

Be yourself but be open to trying on different never know what you'll like for lingerie or poses! Let your inner freak out!! (Lady on the street but a freak in the bed - thanks Ludacris)

How was working with Nichole and the stylist?

Truly awesome. They are both total professionals but so warm and easy to talk to. I had no trepidation at all. Nichole put on some of my favorite music (90s Hip Hop/rap) and we chatted about various things. The stylist did a fantastic job with my makeup and hair (I'm a curly girl and decided to keep it 'natural') and did natural but eye catching makeup (loved the false eyelashes!!) Nichole again was awesome to collaborate with - we talked over the outfit choices and poses; I suggested a couple of poses with my guitar (one to feature my back scar) and she was very open to doing them! She is very no-pressure to purchase any of the photos (but after you see them you will soooo want to!) She is also very serious not to post anything on social media unless you approve of it. That made me feel extra comfortable since we still live in a 'modest' society where anything revealing could make the PTO shun you (but if they did, would I really want my son in that school?) I'm proud of my body the way it is! Though, I can always pull the cancer card...kidding. Maybe.

Would you consider doing another session?

I definitely would, but next time its going to be a couples shoot!

Anything else you would like to add?

It doesn't matter what shape, size, scars, no scars, tattoos, piercings etc you have - do it for YOU!!! You will feel super sexy and not weird in a Hustler/Playboy kind of way. I don't feel objectified since I CHOSE to do this shoot. These photos are for you - go for it!!

What made you decide to book a session?

I applied for Nichole’s Boudie Call because I’ve always had dreams of being a model, I’d always watch Tyra Banks on tv and look up to her. But I was always too short and too curvy to be a “real model” so I would always volunteer for friends when they needed models. I’m a very sexual person with a big loud personality so I knew boudoir would be so much fun. I wanted to not only surprise my fiancé with a sexy present but also amaze myself with this opportunity.

How were you feeling prior to your session?

I was feeling a little nervous but more excited! I couldn’t wait to get into all my cute lingerie and stick out my booty!

Describe your experience

My experience was flawless. I took the day off from work and got to the studio early. It was a cold windy day and Nichole’s studio felt so cozy and welcoming. I got my make up done and had a mimosa and relaxed and jokes around. I changed into my first outfit and Nichole told me exactly what to do! We had laughs as she tried to imitate the sexy poses she wanted me to do. The whole shoot flew by and I had a great time. I would love to get back there.

How did you feel about yourself after your session?

I feel like a confident hot mama! Whenever I see photos of myself that Nichole posts I honestly cannot believe that it’s me! I never thought I could look that good and sexy. It was the best and most fun confidence boost I could ever have.

What advise would you give to a friend considering a session?

DO IT!! Do not worry about a thing. Nichole acts like your best friend pumping you up the whole time. I have zero regrets or complaints and I wouldn’t change a thing!

How was working with Nichole and the stylist?

They were both amazing! We all relaxed and joked around and it really gets you ready by glamming you up and making you feel like a billion bucks.

Would you consider doing another session?

In a heart beat! I loved being able to personalize the shoot with my band tees and comfy lingerie. I literally wanna do this all the time.

A Bridal Boudoir Session { New Hampshire}

New Hampshire Boudoir Session

Another Repeat Client!!

"J" and I worked together about two years ago at another studio location I had.  I was so thrilled to be getting a chance to do another session with her.

Below are her images and words about her experience.

What made you decide to book a session?

I've done a boudoir session before and had set my heart on going a little more frisky this time around. I adore the work I've seen, especially lately. Nichole has done amazing things with sessions I've seen as well as mine and I felt compelled to throw myself into it again.

How were you feeling prior to your session?

The last session I did, I felt sexy and powerful. Nichole made me grasp another layer of my self confidence. I felt appealing and feminine in my skin

Describe your experience

Both sessions I've done included hair and makeup and a lot of laughter and good conversation even before the camera came out. The make up and hair were done by two [different] amazing artists. They hit my looks almost to the "T". I was comfortable going into the session. It was a great atmosphere and very comfortable, even when wearing very little.

The session was exciting and sexy. I trusted Nichole and her vision for my shoot. She made getting into some very uncomfortable positions very fun and I could feel my sex appeal rise to the occasion.

How did you feel about yourself after your session?

After both my sessions I felt like a friggin' model. There is nothing more sexy about getting undressed and barring all to a camera and feeling completely comfortable. Knowing that vulnerability transformed into strength and power and a rise in self confidence.

What advise would you give to a friend considering a session?

I would tell any woman of any size, shape, color, personality, to drop all inhibition and be who you've always longed to be. If you have always wanted to be a centerfold, stare down your self doubt and strut your sexy little self. If you want to be sassy, classy, enticing, naughty, playful or anything that you strive to be secretly... Be outward with it and let that she wolf right out.

Don't allow anything to hold you back. The studio is truly a judgement free zone without the treadmill.

How was working with Nichole and the stylist?

Both stylists I've had, have been amazing. I've had such a great time with all the ladies I've met. I felt as though I've known them and they were my girls.

Would you consider doing another session?

I would love doing another session. There are always things you think of afterward that you may want to try.

Anything else you would like to add?

These sessions really made a positive impact in my life. I've sent several people in to do sessions and I would send hundreds more.
